Gently Used Baby Shower Gifts

I recently had a baby and found asking for hand-me-downs or second-hand gifts was definitely the way to go. There are sooo many gently used baby items available at thrift stores and second hand shops for very little money.

Asking for used items meant my friends didn't waste their cash on brand new things they could have purchased used for a fraction of the cost. Also, I actually received *more* stuff because people's money went further.

If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't even have created a baby registry, I would just have told everyone to buy something second-hand.
